Auto Click on OK - Pop up doesn't work

Trying to use Click Link on web page to automatically press "OK" after clicking link, using Edge.  It's not working and times out.

Is there another approach or something that I'm missing?

    Whats the error ?

Failed to get window ? Failed to click on element / button ?  🤔

As far as I know, that setting only works in Internet Explorer.

At first continue your research with the Click link but if not working then other option would be to try sendkeys and Enter. Remember to give a Wait stage before the sendkeys.

    Firstly confirm your chosen browser.

Ui windows can be dynamic, every time you interact with it, it could be a different address...

Redo the selector and make it dynamic, was there really a need to blank out practically everything ?

    Appreciate if its confidential 😁

What does confirm your browser mean?  It is Edge as mentioned.

I don't think it had much to do with the selector in the end, however you're right that does tend to clear up these issues, especially running unattended.  Unattended doesn't seem to work the same as attended for the systems we work with for some reason.

You get to see what I think is needed to answer the question.  This is a public forum so yes confidentiality is a consideration before pasting any identifying information for a classified system.  Was there something that was blanked that would have assisted your answer? If so I will consider sharing the information.  Please identify the blank.

The below worked for anyone looking for an answer.

Clink on link, error handling set to continue

Send Keys set to Send as hardware keys

Send keys to Window Instance.  (will need to select this when the windows is open)

RE the blanked out parts, these UiElements contain Equal to / contains , various numbers etc so thats where we adjust these to be dynamic etc. These are the hardest to help people with as WE need to see the syntax for the element but as yours are confidential I understand, good to hear you sorted it.

Ok.  Makes sense.  I'll keep that in mind for next time and see if I can abstract somehow.  Thanks!
