Power Automate Desktop's more than one instance to run at VM

Hi,

My desktop flow is triggered when a user submits MS Form. It takes around 20 min for the desktop flow to be completed at the VM.

That is why I don't want the next user to wait 20 minutes until the previous instance is completed.

Is there any method to run more than 1 instance of desktop flow same time on the VM?

You have several options:

1. Run unlimited number of flows on 1 RDS server (you need 1 paid addon for each flow, so if you want to run 5 flows at the same time = 5*paid addon)
2. Run unlimited number of flows on your VMs (you need 1 paid addon for each flow, so if you want to run 5 flows at the same time = 5*paid addon and you need 5 VMs). Configure VM in group and point your PA flow to group instead of individual machines.
3. Do point 2 but with hosted machines provided by Microsoft, if your compliance/risk management allows that.

Hi,

I meant to run multiple instances of the same flow at the VM. So for example, if 4 people submit MS Form, then desktop flow is triggered four times. However, these desktop flows are not executed sequentially but parallelly.
For example they run 4 web browser instances same time.

Yup, I understood what you want to achieve and this is not possible in the form you want it. You can execute only 1 flow under 1 user.
So to run flows in parallel you need to execute instances on many VMs in, or on RDS (or just Win Server, but limited to 2 users)
