CDS Upgrade

Hi There, 

 

I keeping getting an error when trying to upgrade the default CDS 1.0 Enviroment via the Admin Panel, it just shows a message failed to create test database? 

 

Does anybody have any ideas? i have apps created in CDS 2.0 Environment that i want to move to the default environment and the experimental connector is also only available in CDS 1.0 Enviroments?

    The last update i had was last Friday stating that they had found the bug and was expecting a fix this week.

    I've checked the details on the ticket and cross referenced with the incidents we have on my team. We're in the state of waiting for a deployment with the fix that will unblock you by the end of this week.

     

    I'm going to spin up a thread internally to understand why it took so long for this to be prepared and be deployed, as your ticket reached our queue on 2/5. We'll try to find better ways to service those tickets faster. There are multiple teams involved in those migrations so even if it took a day on each it to reply/check it can stack up time. 

     

    Lastly, in case you haven't seen this on the responses from support, the auto migration was pushed to 3/15. Hopefully this will aleviate some of your concerns with the upgrade.

     

    I'm really sorry it took so long to get a definite answer on what's going on. Please bear with us a few more days and let us (your support engineer and me) know if you still have issues after the end of the week.

    I'm sorry it's taking so long to offer you a solution. I want to investigate and see what is the reason of the delay and if there is any workaround to unblock you.

    HI

     

    I am very frustrated and need a solution to your CDS upgrade that are not working.

    My colleague I have been in contact with Microsoft since 25 January and been moved from one software engineer to the next with no results and no concurrent feedback.

    Due to uncertainty of an upgrade solution, the notice that old CDS will be deleted by 15 March all development in our company have come to a standstill.

     

    Microsoft what is your plan………………………………………………

    I also have an open ticket and waiting.

     

    Unfortunately I don’t have the option to rebuild the database, just to big.

    Hi @daniedbes

     

    Unfortunately no, this is still an ongoing issue which MS are working to resolve,  i do still have an open case with them. 

     

    Fortunately for me my primary apps are in a secondary environment so i could technically delete the default database and start again but i have test data in there that i would ideally like to keep.

    I have been in contact with MS but with no luck and no solution.
