Planner Attach Document as Link

When working with a flow that creates a task based on a trigger it would be great to be able to assign links based on dynamic content such as the attachment of an e-mail that was a trigger or an attachment to a Outlook Task that was a trigger.

This assumes that "flow" would take care of moving the attachment to a one drive location (or perhaps that becomes a configuration setting) that allows for the file to be shared via a link.

Assuming this is probably possible with a Logic App, just doesn't seem to be exposed in Flow as of yet.

    Hi briannipper,

Do you mean that you want to create a flow to create a task under Planner when a new email with attachment arrives?

I am not sure with this about “assign links based on dynamic content such as the attachment of an e-mail that was a trigger or an attachment to a Outlook Task that was a trigger”, could you provide more clarification on your scenario?

    Best regards,

    Hello,

    My idea is...

When an outlook task is created and the outlook task includes an attachment

    then

The Planner Task that is created based on the trigger could include a link to the attachment.

I'm saying a link because a planner task doesn't allow you to "attach" anything, but you can associate a link to anything.

Right now the dynamic data fiedls don't list attachments, at least I didn't notice any dynamic content that seemed to expose that content, nor do I see a place in the Create Planner Task to associate a link(s) to the task.

    Thank you for your time,
