PAD deployment to another environment

Hi,

I am using an AVD for my PAD development. When i am deploying my solution to another environment. I need to change the PAD's machine environment on where my current cloud flow is running. From what i have observe. I can only use my AVD on a single environment at a time. Is this really the case for using PAD with cloud flows? Do i need to have a different AVD per environment?

A bit of a confusing question, I'm unsure of what your end goal is,

Let me summarize what I understood:

    - You created a PAD automation on a AVD in your development environment
    - You're exporting this via a solution to a different environment

    - Now this is where I get lost in what you mean, you're saying you have to change the machine environment of your PAD automation to the one where your cloud flow runs? The cloud flow should have also been transferred over so you set the new machine and that should be it, unless you're trying to run the cloud flow from the original environment, in which case it wouldn't work as environments house their stuff individually.

Let me know if I misunderstood something.

Thanks for the feedback @Pavel_NaNoi . That is correct, once i have transferred it to another environment let say UAT and my PAD is now set to UAT. I cannot use my DEV now.

Does this mean i need to have a separate AVD per environment?

You can have multiple environments for one AVD, you just have to switch between each one to use tools from one or the other environment, so technically yes, one environment one AVD.

Seems like this is the case. Thanks for the response.
