Power App Connectors not working for user

I have a Power App in a prod solution in an environment with an environment team set up with a dynamic group to allow users to access it. The app itself is shared with this dynamic group as well. The app has been running smoothly for over 200 users within the last month, but I got a message today from someone that the initial App Permissions screen will not allow them to set up the connections needed.
 
Instead of the typical 'fix connection' that users see and click to Allow, they have a 'Refresh connection', that when clicked does nothing. 
 
 
The little red exclamation point to the left of the button reads an error message of: (I tried having them set up a connection within the environment manually, and got same message)
