I am a newbie in make.powerautomate.com and wanted to build a first simple flow.
If someone drops a calendar file *.ics into a OneDrive folder (shared with family & friends) then my personal outlook.live.com/calendar shall process the file.
For Step1 I found a connector:
OneDrive: When a file is created (properties only)
Without knowing if that is a suitable connector
I have no idea, which connector would be able to import that file into outlook.live.com
I found the answer to query1 and query2
Query1:
Office 365 Outlook and outlook.live.com is not the same thing.
outlook.live.com has the Connector name Outlook.com
Query2:
OneDrive: When a file is created (properties only) may not be the best suitable connector.
It has access to file properties, but not the file content
OneDrive: When a file is created - might be more appropriate
Processing the file is still a question mark
I found a work around: Outlook.com Send an email (V2) is able to send me the file as attachment then I am able to manually insert it into the Calendar
I still have to figure out if the email attachment could automatically be processed
