Dataverse and SharePoint list functionality. When we build apps then when using SharePoint list we can fetch data using formula but in dataverse wether we have any limitations to display or fetching data. Kindly recommend since im using as400 and import in dataverse due to data authorization etc

Dataverse offers many more configuration options for security and privacy. You can restrict who has access to certain tables, records, or columns, unlike a SharePoint List that is open and available for an authorized user to see in its entirety.

Yes dataverse got lots of benefits and your inputs helped me a lot in assessments. sharepoint list don't have any additional cost,but dataverse comes with license cost in one way,but mainly it's secured than sharepoint list.
Dataverse is a relational database that gives you the ability to preserve relationships among records. As well, a Dataverse table can handle something like 30 million rows, so you can work with relatively large data sets.
The biggest advantages over a SharePoint List are:
From your other posts, I see you are still trying to get data out of an AS400 system, so that will be your primary hurdle. Dataverse offers additional ways beyond a CSV file to import data, which may help you out:
