Hello community, I have two questions, both related to how the zoom works when a user uses the mobile app in a browser.

1. The first issue occurs when simply zooming. If I try to zoom in on random parts of the screen, it doesn't respond. However, when I zoom in on an input field, it zooms in and out correctly, or on the top area where the app's title bar is located next to the user, it zooms in and out freely.

2. In this same application, when viewing it in portrait mode and then rotating the device to landscape mode, it zooms in and out. If I zoom out and then change the orientation again, this zooming happens.

I would like to know if other users have experienced this problem and if you know of a possible solution.

Yes, this is a common behavior when running a resposive Power Apps app in a mobile browser.

Zoom only works on input fields

This happens because the browser controls pinch-zoom, not Power Apps. The canvas blocks zoom in most areas, but native input fields allow it. There’s no direct setting in Power Apps to fix this.

Auto zoom on orientation change

When you rotate the device, the browser recalculates the viewport size and automatically adjusts zoom. That’s why it zooms in/out when switching portrait ↔ landscape.

What You Can Do

Go to App Settings → Display
Turn Scale to fit = OFF
Turn Lock aspect ratio = OFF
Use responsive layout (containers, Parent.Width/Height).
Avoid fixed pixel sizes.
Best option: Ask users to use the PowerApp mobile app instead of browser.
