I have a friend who was filling out my form in Power Apps, but when he tries to submit it, he gets the following error:

 

“Access is denied. (HRESULT: 0x80070005 / E_ACCESSDENIED)”

 

When he finishes filling out the form, the information is not saved in my lists, and the automation I created in Power Automate does not run either.

Do you know what could be causing this?

    Hi ,

    Can you confirm. Did you share the data source permissions with them (not just the app)?

    For example, if it’s a SharePoint list, they need Contribute/Edit on the list (or the site).

    Also check the flow’s Run-only users settings if it’s triggered from Power Apps.

    Also note. Power Apps always uses the end user’s credentials when accessing the data source, not the app maker’s credentials. So even if the maker has full access, users must have their own permission on the SharePoint list / Dataverse table
