Open Settings → System → Display
Scroll down and select Graphics
Under “Custom options for apps”, change the dropdown to Desktop app
Click Browse
Navigate to the Process Lasso installation folder:
C:\Program Files\Process Lasso\ Select ProcessLasso.exe (or ProcessGovernor.exe if that’s the component you want to optimize)
Once added, click the entry → Options → choose High performance
Windows sometimes blocks apps that use non‑standard launchers. Two workarounds:
Option A — Add the EXE from the “bin” folder
Process Lasso installs multiple executables. Try adding:
C:\Program Files\Process Lasso\ProcessGovernor.exe C:\Program Files\Process Lasso\ProcessLasso.exe Option B — Create a shortcut and add that
Right‑click the EXE → Create shortcut
Move the shortcut to your Desktop
In Graphics settings, choose Desktop app → Browse → select the shortcut
