PowerApp Sign In Issue In PowerBI

I have an embedded PowerApp in a PowerBI dashboard. This is published on a shared teams page for users to interact with. The PowerBI portion displays perfectly, but the PowerApp displays the image attached. Whenever anyone clicks on it, it briefly opens a window in their browser which closes immediately. Upon looking at the browsing history, it says the link is web.powerapps.com/webplayer/popupproxy. Not sure how to get the users to actually sign in a view the PowerApp. They can view the PowerApp in the desktop version of PowerBI as well as on the web version of PowerBI, just not when it is on a teams page.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Please take a check of the following page for PowerApps configuration:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/limits-and-config

Make sure all the sites mentioned are allowed.

After that, check to see if the sign in window could open.

    Regards,

    Michael

We allow all of the sites mentioned. As a workaround I figured out that if I add the PowerApp as an individual tab on the teams page, users can click on it and it will prompt the login correctly. Then, when they navigate back to the PowerBI dashboard in teams that has the same PowerApp embedded in it, it correctly asks them to validate their credentials for the PowerApp and sign in. They are only prompted to sign in after navigating to the separate PowerApp tab on the teams page and then back again to the dashboard. This isn't a sustainable solution because we as a company would like to move forward using this setup (Teams page with PowerBI tab with a PowerApp embedded) for other processes.
