I have a default enviro and a prod enviro with both of them having agents. after wrestling with file digestion changes were made across multiple areas of Studio, PowerPlatform. few hrs later i was unable to upload any file type to the agents. drag and drop or +. no error and no file in chat window. Reached out to MS(waste of time) and no progress. I did create 2 custom prompts located in tools to help with file handling. as part of my troubleshooting i deleted the agents and now can't delete the tools. Been 5 days and no help from MS.

not sure what changed but now i get error that the file type does not match what is allowed. PDF and docx.

Hi @JK-13021502-0,

If uploads suddenly stopped in both environments, it’s almost certainly a DLP or environment policy change, not the agent itself.
Have your Power Platform admin check the DLP policy and allowed file types for those environments.

For the tools you can’t delete , there’s still a dependency somewhere. Open it in Solutions → Show dependencies and remove whatever is referencing it. and sometimes its browser cache, try new session with Incognito mode and see if you see the same error.

Hey @JK-13021502-0, I’ve actually run into the same issue before. In my case, the file type error and the tool not deleting were both caused by browser caching. I cleared the cache and cookies, restarted the browser, and everything started working again.

Might be worth giving that a try if you haven’t already! Let us know if it helps.
