How to define the goals of different stages of RPA learning
For example: distinguish between beginner, intermediate and advanced?

I don't think there really is a framework for that. When you don't know anything, you're a beginner. But the rest is really related to experience much more than to learning. You need practice (as in building actual flows) to be more than a beginner. You can go through all the materials available online, get certified and still be a beginner if you've never put the knowledge to practice.

So, when you've built some flows for actual use cases (and not just playing around or following samples and tutorials), and have done so for a while, you eventually become what you could consider "intermediate".

Advanced is likely at least a few years of working experience, building several complex flows, implementing best practices, error handling, logging, etc. Working with different interfaces and having experience in them. No learning track alone will ever get you there.
