Hey Guys.

We are using a Power Automate workflow to create new Users, and at some point of the flow the switch checks for the chosen Team and should then send a mail to the corresponding team leader.

This was working for months now. 3 weeks ago a new team had to be added. And this team is making problems right now.

The thing is, the value that the flow will be checking for the team matches exactly the value that it is getting from the forms response.

I did copy the value from the response and checked it with the search funktion, and it matches 100%

What could be the Problem here?

I tripple checked everything but cant find a reason why the flow would behave like that.

Hi @roosi_Chris , I tested it and it worked just fine. the only thing that I can think of is that there is a trailing space after the text value in the switch case - not sure if  you have checked that already.

    Cheers,

    Alex

yes, already checked that. No space infront or after the value.

Maybe i have to much branches in my switch, currently using 12 different ones.

Hi @roosi_Chris , i don't think the number of branches is the cause here - i once created a switch that had 20 branches without any issue.

One last thing i usually try is to have a Compose action before the Switch and use trim() expression with the "Team" dynamic content. Then use the output of the compose on the switch.

Make a test run then you can check the actual value of the "Team" dynamic content returned from get response details action.

changed nothing, worked now. Seems like something else was causing this error...
