Having an Adaptive Card Triggered to Appear Instantly Without a Prompt or Interaction with Agent

I'm building an agent with a topic that upon being triggered has an adaptive card appear for the user to select between various options.

Ideally, I'd like the adaptive card to appear instantly when the user opens the agent, rather than the adaptive card needing to be triggered. I tried seeing if there was a trigger that can allow the adaptive card to appear by default without any interaction with the agent, although I was not able to find a way to do this successfully.

1) Is this possible to have an adaptive card appear instantly when the user opens the agent without any interaction?

2) If this is not currently possible, is this a feature that Microsoft would consider implementing to allow within copilot studio agent topics?

Hi,

Can you explain where (what application) and how the user will open the agent? Depending on the application there might be a zero-prompt experience. E.g, the Copilot sidecar in Dynamics 365 F&O has a trigger that gives the option to show an adaptive card when opening the sidecar.

To display an Adaptive Card immediately when the user opens the agent, add an action in the Conversation Start or Greeting topic to redirect to a topic that contains the Adaptive Card.

Teams: Conversation Start triggers only once (first user add), not on every open. (Source)

Website: Auto-start conversation on load enables immediate card display. (Source)

Model-driven Apps: Zero Prompt Experience shows cards at chat start. (Source)

Answer to your questions:

If you mean in Teams then its one-time only (every time convo start).

Another thing you can try is Recurrance Trigger, if you want to run daily at a specific time.

- Yes for website embed and model-driven apps.
