Can not add UI element after recent update to 2.23 version

Hi All,

Since I updated my Power automate recently I can not add UI elements anymore (mainly buttons on web page,other sometimes work). The red box around the element comes on then I press ctrl+ right click and then the red box text is saying waiting for action ,and after that nothing happens. I have this since the recent update. Reinstall PAD and extension did not fix the issue. Have this with Chorme and edge same issue. Any Help is welkom. Funny thing is that if I use old captured UI ,these still work,but can't add new once.

I am unable to add UI elements also. I keep being told to download the Chrome extension. I already had it installed. So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again. It still does not work. Now I'm having trouble with Launch new Chrome command as well.

Hi All,
Maybe if we reinstall the version before it can work again,but not sure.However I can't find the old install file of version 2.21.244.22174. Can anybody help ?

Same issue. Some elements can be selected without issue and others I just get the a quick 'waiting for action' message but then nothing happens.

I found https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-automate-for-desktop-june-2022-update/
which as it says is the June release version 2.23.114.22217. This fixed the problem for me!

Hi Sire,

Ok fine but I can not even select the UI element before getting to this edit screen with the version you mention.Does anyone have the old install file for version 2.21.244.2217 . There the selector was working good

Are you using PAD inside any Citrix workspace? if yes, the issue is with latest Citrix version. try to downgrade Citrix and try.

I have the same problem.

I am glad that i am not the only one that has this problem. I thought I was going crazy.

In my experience it is when the web element contains Jscript in some form that it cannot get it.

Plz let this be fixed.

Hi All,

I found my old install file version 2.21.262.22194 and install this version again. After that the UI element selector is working fine again. See there is a bug in the 2.23 version.
