Changing Connection References Owner in Power Apps

Hi all!

I’m experiencing an issue when trying to change the owner of a connection reference within a Power Apps solution.

What I have always done is go to Advanced Settings in Dynamics 365 → Connection References and select the connection I wanted to modify from the dropdown list.

Currently, when I try to do this, I receive an error message telling me to contact support.

How can I resolve this issue?

Thanks

@FR-27081326-0,  I couldn't able to understand you want to change the connection reference inside solution but why with D365.

Open the Solution -> Connection Reference and make necessary changes.

A screenshot of a Power Platform environment, looking at Connection References within the Default Solution.

Based on your question, you need to change the Connection reference owner but basically you cannot transfer ownership of a connection reference directly.

You can create a new connection reference to the respective connector for the new owner and update the connection reference in the flow.

Hope this helps. If you need any other information, do let us know. If you found my reply helpful, consider giving a thumbs up or accepting as a solution.

    Have a great day.
