How to patch Date in SahrePoint list PowerApps canvas App ?

Hi,

I have SharePoint list that contains date in mm/dd/yyyy format i.e 06/15/2021. I am following video by April Dunnam here, where she is creating an editable table and patching the record back to the sharepoint site. I am not sure how to patch the date in SharePoint site ? The datatype in SharePoint column is Date and Time.
