UI elements for excel

Hi,

I am creating a flow that opens multiple excels and removes the password. For that I am using UI elements. However, I created the flow based on one excel and the UI elements seem to be only connected to this excel. Once I run it for another excel file, I get the message that there is no such UI element. Is there a way to create UI element for excel that is not connected to/dependent on one specific file?

    Hi @Agata_Gaj

    Please change the selector

    Open edit selector and try to pass the variable which should contain the excel name....

    And according to your scenario please store the excel file name in a variable.....

    And that variable should be passed in the selector......instead of single file name pass this variable and make it dynamic....

    Hope this helps,

    Usha

    Hi @Agata_Gaj ,

    You excel files has different name so when you run for next excel file it will have first excel file name as shown in below image.

    You need to pass variable in place of excel file name in the selector as shown in below image.

    But for excel automation, I would suggest use excel In-Built activities or Send keys actions.

    (Note:- if you got your solution you can mark as solution and gives kudos)

    Thanks & Regards

    I've tried that but it doesn't change the file. The name is still assigned to the file in which I recorder UI elements.

    @Agata_Gaj
    Could you please share your flow screenshot after hiding all sensitive data?

    And also click on the UI elements Edit on your button and share the screenshot as like below screenshot?
