An error occurred while trying to retrieve data from the network.

Before February, the data connections in my Canvas Apps were all working normally. However, recently users have been reporting that the app keeps showing the error message "An error occurred while trying to retrieve data from the network." Previously, Asian users would occasionally encounter this issue, but now even users in the US are experiencing it. My environment is located in the US, and Asian users have tried using VPNs and switching networks, but the problem still persists. At this point, I’m not sure what is causing this issue. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me look into how to resolve this problem.

    Most Likely Causes
    1. Dataverse / Connector Throttling
    2. Microsoft Outage or Regression (very common after February updates)
    3. Data source slowdown
    4. A connector authentication token expired and is not refreshing

    What to Check (Most Effective Steps)
    1. Check App Monitor (Power Apps → Open app → Monitor) [It will reveal exactly which connector call is failing.]
    2. Check Power Platform Admin Center → Health → Dataverse analytics
    3. Check Microsoft 365 / Power Platform service health
    4. Check your data sources for any failures
    5. Check if your environment has IP rate limits being hit

    Thank you for your help. I would like to add some more information regarding my previous issue. When I checked the monitor, I noticed that the data source with problems changes every time after a refresh. Multiple data sources report errors about retrieving data, and the Microsoft365User connector also shows network-related errors. This confuses me, as the data sources that report errors are different each time.
