It is not only me having this issue, while I try to edit an existing security role, I got the error screen as mentionned in the screen attached to this question.
While I don't experience "errors" in the traditional sense, this specific "Loading role failed!" screen in the Power Platform admin center is a known issue that usually points to a session timeout or a regional service degradation.
Quick Fix
Since this involves the admin center UI, local browser state is the first suspect:
Hard Refresh: Press Ctrl + F5 (Windows) to force the browser to ignore its cache.
Incognito Mode: Open the admin center in a Private/Incognito window. If this works, you simply need to clear your browser's cookies and site data for microsoft.com.
Switch Browsers: If you are using Edge, try Chrome (or vice-versa). This rules out a specific browser-engine rendering issue with the role editor.
Check the Power Platform Service Health
If multiple colleagues are seeing this, it’s likely an outage or a "Service Health" incident.
Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Navigate to Health > Service health.
Look for any advisories under Power Apps or Microsoft Dataverse. Specifically, look for incidents related to "Admin UI" or "Security Role management."
Regional Metadata Inconsistency
Sometimes, the modern "Security Role" editor in the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) fails while the "Legacy" interface still works.
Try accessing the role via the Legacy Settings:
Go to your environment.
Click the Settings (gear icon) > Advanced Settings.
Go to Settings > Security > Security Roles.
If you can edit them here, the issue is purely with the new PPAC interface.
