I just created a SharePoint list and am trying to create an app from the list. The SharePoint list has a couple of choice columns, a person column and a lookup column in addition to a couple of text fields. I'm a global admin.
Hoping someone can help.

How do you create the app? Do you create the app for a list in SharePoint Online or start the app from SharePoint list on PowerApps studio automatically?
When testing this issue on my side, I don’t get the error message you mentioned, both the two ways can create the app successfully.
Please check the user permission under Azure AD and make sure you do have permission to access the site.
You may also try to recreate the connection then try again with it.

Turned out to be a computer to cloud glitch. I gave my computer a reboot and things started working properly. Thanks for the assist.
