Getting "SystemError" in Microsoft Teams Copilot Studio agent – anyone else?

Hi everyone,

I'm running into an issue with my Copilot Studio agent deployed in Microsoft Teams. It throws the following error:

> **Error:** Sorry, something unexpected happened. We're looking into it.
> **Error code:** SystemError
> **Time (UTC):** 4/7/2026 4:45:36 AM

Has anyone seen this before? I'd love to know:
- What typically causes a `SystemError` in Teams-deployed Copilot Studio agents?
- Is there a way to get more detailed logs or diagnostics beyond the conversation ID?
- Any fixes or workarounds that worked for you?

I've already checked the bot's connection settings and it seems fine on the Copilot Studio side. The error appears to be happening at the Teams channel level.

In most cases, occurs could be due to:
   •   Agent flow/connector problems (auth/timeout)
   •   Mismatch in permissions between Copilot Studio and Teams user environment
   •   Large size of bot response or inability for it to operate in Teams

Check if it works in the test pane but not in Teams, there is either an authentication issue or a problem with the connector try delete and create again

well we are not using any connector. we are using only the sharePoint knowledge. i will follow your steps if still i get same issue i will comment here.
