Hi all,

I've created a new canvas app which connects to a Share Point list. However, when I run the app in edit mode (I would like to edit the existing data) I get a No data to display message. It is only when I set the mode to New that I get a screen where I can enter data (but still not able to edit EXISTING data).

I have seen where when creating an app starting from the Share point list as opposed to starting from Power Apps and connecting to a Share Point list (which is what I am doing) , it DOES create several screens, Edit, View and New.

How can I get the same experience when I create a new canvas app that connects to a Share Point list.

You need to have a code like First(YourList) on the Item property of the Editform. That would show the first item in your list in the Edit mode.

To make it more dynamic, insert a Gallery and on items property:

Yourlist

Then in the Item property of the Editform:

GalleryName.Selected
