We have PAD flow that is being triggered from cloud flow.

We initially bought attended RPA license and also Addon that cost 150$ for unattended.

After using it for a while, I was wondering how attended RPA works and decided to give it a try. I had impression that, i had to use Unattended mode so that multiple PADs can be triggered from could and they will get queued and attended RPA does not support this queuing. I WAS WRONG

To my surprise. attended RPA as well queue, all the triggers.

So, here I am , wondering why do I pay extra for unattended Add-on when attended works fine? (I also have to make sure machine is signed out in case of unattended call and for attended i have to make sure user is logged in)

What else am i missing? when do we need unattended RPAs (to justify stiff 150$ pricing? )

The choice of Attended vs Unattended is typically a customer choice. The biggest difference is having the ability to have a flow run without the need for a user intervention. Many customers find value in that the flow can log in, do its task, then log out, without the need to monitor it while its running. There are also cases where customer may just want a flow to run alongside the user on the same machine. A scenario where the user would need to do tasks while the flow is running is the best case for Attended. Both Attended and Unattended can make use of Queue's. The difference really comes from the name of the feature, Attended flows run while a user is logged in, while Unattended flows run when a user is signed out. Both require the machine to be on and connected.
