Hi All,

I'm new to Power Automate Desktop and need som help regarding UI elements.

I'm trying to automate data extraction from a legacy app in our organisation. The data I want to extract is tabular however when I try to capture the table Power Automate Desktop sees it as individual text fields. Here's an example:

Is there any way around this so that I can save the entire tabular data in a variable or excel at once instead of looping?

    Hi @NickM1209 ,

In Power Automate Desktop, extracting data from a table in a legacy application can be challenging if the application doesn’t expose the table as a single UI element. If Power Automate Desktop is recognizing the table as individual text fields, it means that the application is not exposing the table structure in a way that Power Automate Desktop can recognize.

You can try like extracting or Taking screenshot of that table and try extract that table with Extract text with OCR action. So it will appear as table and you paste that directly into excel.

(Note:- if you got your solution you can mark as solution and gives kudos)

    Thanks & Regards

Try to locate the Table element. So don't try to capture single cell but the whole table by hovering over the edges of the table so that it would appear like so before clicking alt + mouse1:

It won't show as table even if I hover the edges..
