How can I rank/prioritize specific topics or knowledge sources?

I want to create an agent that will help users in my org build Qlik apps. I want the agent to try to answer the user's questions with internal knowledge sources I create that document and explain the code of an existing app used within the org. If nothing in the internal knowledge sources addresses the user's need, I'd like the agent to then search public websites.

I have tried adding natural language to the agent description, and to each topic (each topic is associated with one knowledge source), but it seems like the agent disregards those instructions. I've tried changing the wording in different ways - to no apparent effect. For example, "This topic should be triggered any time the [Name] knowledge source can answer the user's question. If multiple topics could address the user's need, always trigger this topic".

Is there a way I can explicitly rank/prioritize knowledge sources?

Click on 3 dots of your topic trigger and you will find Priority field.

My ideal outcome is that the agent will use its own reasoning capabilities to identify topics that could address a specific question, and then triggers the topic with the highest priority. My current trigger is 'Triggered by agent', which I think is necessary to leverage generative AI capabilities? And it appears that the priority option does not exist for this trigger type.

I tried changing the trigger type to match what is shown in your image. And now I do see the priority option. Do you happen to know if it's possible to use this type of trigger in conjunction with AI reasoning capabilities?
