Write Back to Azure Databricks from Power apps

Hello,

I am building an app where the data source is Azure Databricks using the Databricks connector. I am able to read records directly into the app without any issues. However, I am not able to write back to Databricks. When I try to use the Patch function to create or update records, it throws an error.

Could someone please confirm whether it is possible to write back to Azure Databricks directly from Power Apps?

    Azure Databricks Connector with Power Platform supports create, update, and delete operations, but only for tables that have a primary key defined.
     
    When performing create operations you must always specify the primary key. Do you have primary key columns?

    Hello @ursNani,
     
    Since you’re able to read data, your connector is working fine. For Patch/update to work, please make sure the Databricks table has a primary key. Without it, write operations won’t work. 

    Please share the Patch function code you’re using and a screenshot of the error. if you are still facing an issue.
