Hi,
I am having issues with syncing Dataverse tables to Synapse/Data Lake. I am able to connect to the Synapse/Data Lake and am able to sync some tables. However, there are some tables that the Initial Sync status will always be at "Not started" and does not sync. When I look at the Data Lake, the json files are created but the csv files associated with the data are not created. I am not able to figure out why this is and how to fix it. I have tried unlinking and relinking, but am not able to get all the tables that I need completely synced. I am not able to remove those tables because the initial sync process hasn't been completed and the other tables that have gone through the initial sync process does not get updated anymore either because there are tables that are stuck on the "not started" initial sync status. Not sure if anyone has experienced this or know how to resolve?
Thanks,
Moony
Dear all,
for us it was the missing vCores quota assignment for spark pool on the workspace which you need when you use a spark pool for the conversion by synapse link. Now it works!
Hi,
This issue is resolved with MS build. applied latest patch from MS. Its resolve for us.
Dear all,
pls check your subscription you used for provisioning the Synapse Analytics Workspace. There is a Default Value of vCores assigned to synapse analytics workspace / apache spark pool. After we will test this solution to increase the vCores I will let you know.
Hi,
Can anyone find solution for D365FO entities initial sync status not update.??
Hi Tamilamuthan,
Have you managed to fix this issue?
Thanks,
Jim
Dear all,
I do have the same issue for FnO tables, the xxxmetadata_partitioned tables are imported. The Salestable_partitioned is empty. Shouldn't there be a table called Salestable which can be queried?
What we already checked is: we unlinked the data lake from dataverse and linked it again. We checked the amount of vCores having in our subscription. This link mentions that this could be an issue: One Dynamics One Platform : Analytics - Delta Lake Synapse Link — PowerAzure365
We checked if Dataverse, Datalake and Synapse are within one region. Nothing helped. Pls, can anybody give me a hint?
Hi Thomas,
Still I'm having the issue. I have a raised a support incident with Microsoft. But yet no solution from them.
Have you managed to fix the issue?
Thanks,
Tamil
Hi Tamilamuthan
Did you find a resolution to the stuck on initial sync for FnO tables? I am having the same issue
Thanks
Thomas
Hi,
Yes, the error was something that Microsoft Support had to fix. They mentioned that it was a backend thing that they had to do to clear up the backlog and to restart the sync process. I do not have any connections with F&O so not sure if this applies. Good luck!
Hi @moonytong -
Did you managed to clear this error. I'm facing the error now. Im trying to connect my FnO tables. After selecting the Tables all the FnO tables struck in the Initial sync state. Also no data is synced to the Datalake DB.
Can you help me if you have an working solution.
Thanks
