Hi,

I’m trying to add an image to a screen in Power Apps, but I keep getting the error “There was a problem adding your media.” I’ve tried both PNG and JPEG formats with no luck. I’m using modern controls. Has anyone run into this before or know what might be causing it?

Thanks,
Dan

How big is the file? There is a max size limit on media files in Power Apps.  They must be smaller than 64MB.

I didn't face this in my experience, I was hovering this thread and a clue you can check is:

It seems the VPN or security filtering is blocking or inspecting the upload traffic to the Power Apps CDN (azureedge/blob). Testing outside the VPN fixes it, which points to a network-level restriction.

Except these points I suppose some common area you can check:

    1. Unsupported media file format or corrupted file.
    2. File size exceeds the allowed limit.
    3. Network connectivity issues during upload.
    4. Permissions or access issues with the data source or storage location.
    5. Browser or device compatibility problems.
    6. Temporary glitches in Power Apps or the platform.

Finally, to my best knowledge, supported file formats in media are: JPG, PNG, MP4. Can you please check one more area considering .PNH  isn't supported?

I was able to add the url to the image property of the image. This works to bring the image in. I am still having trouble using upload, but the alternative way works for what I need.
