Make cloud-only user Environment Admin in default environment with on-premise Ad synced to Azure AD

Hi,

I have the following situation:

I am running an on-premise Active Directory, which is synced with Azure AD. In this setting we also have some users that are not in our on-premise AD, i.e. cloud-only users.

I have tried to make one of these cloud-only users an Environment Admin for my PowerApps default environment, but did not succeed. The user does not show up in the list of users.

Is it possible to make a cloud-only user an Environment Admin, if there is a sync between an on-premise AD and Azure AD? What could be the issue that the user is not shown?

I know its possible, because I've done it. Have you tried adding the user on the security tab in the environment by adding their email address. Then you can assign them the Admin security role.
