converting from PAYG to Power Apps per-app license

I'm converting a production environment from pay-as-you-go to a Power Apps per-app license. I've done the first step -- assigned the license to the environment. Is the next step as simple as unhooking that environment from the Azure billing policy, and the environment will gain the Dataverse capacity that comes with the license? Is there a time lag for the change to take effect? Any other cautions?

    Typically, changes like this should take effect relatively quickly, but it's possible that there could be a slight delay. It's a good idea to monitor the environment after making the change to ensure everything is functioning as expected.

    As for other cautions, here are a few:

    • Ensure that you have thoroughly tested the environment after making the change to the per-app license to ensure that all functionality is working correctly.
    • Communicate any changes to relevant stakeholders, such as users who may be affected by the transition.
    • Keep in mind any customizations or integrations you may have in place that could be impacted by the license change. Make sure to test these thoroughly.
    • Check for any specific requirements or limitations associated with the per-app license that could affect your environment.
