Hi,

Need to delete all empty rows from column 5 of an active excel instance.

How to delete empty rows of a column with Power automate desktop?

Read the excel table
loop that table in for each
Check if current item column 5 is empty
If yes delete the row.

Using the below action, get your empty cell or row.

Then use delete row or excel from excel worksheet and delete the required details.

Hi @Sormick ,

As @Deenujimentioned, read the excel table and delete the row when the column is empty, by using conditioning. Kindly find the attachment below.

2. Another method is using 'Get Empty Cell' actions to get empty cells on the specific column needed. Please find the screenshot below, hope this two methods will resolve your query.

Sorry for my late reply.
I don't have a table on my workbook. Maybe for me the better solution would be using function "Get Empty cell"
But i did not find this function on my french version of automate desktop.
Please note that i do not have a premium license for automate desktop
Is this function only available on premium versions?

I'm Using the Version 2.41.170.24032. is the "Get Empty cell" function a new function released in a new Version?

In excel, when deleting rows in a loop, it is best practice to start from last row with an increment of -1. This ensures indexing won’t get confused when a row is deleted,
