Suggestion Prompts Not Showing After Publishing

Hello Everyone,

I created an agent in Copilot Studio that includes 6 suggested prompts. However when I publish it to Microsoft 365 Copilot the prompts don't appear in the agent. I also turned off the “Start conversation” topic.
Here is my agent — as you can see, it has 6 suggestions.

Suggested prompts not showing. the agent display some default prompts as you see in the below image can you let me know what is the issue with the agent.

Hi There?

Are you sure you agent is selected in your left panel? is if its selected then probably is not updating correctly.

Try on coplot studio removing your M365 Copilot Teams channel and publishing it again, if nothing works you should probably contact microsoft support.

Hi

I think it’s a refresh problem, if you just publish it, it won’t be updated right away.
You usually need to republish and then refresh (or wait for Microsoft 365 Copilot to sync) before the new suggested prompts appear.

Under Channels, click on Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Then next to Availability options choose See agent in [...]

Then you can update your agent and you will see your changes:

Hi @Giraldoj , thank you for your reply I have uninstalled the agent from copilot and added again but the suggestion prompts still not showing.

Hi @chiaraalina , Thank you so much for your reply, I have followed all steps you mentioned but the issue still remain I noticed the suggestion prompts is location has been changes as you see in the image below I could find my agent prompts in the Gallery

The prompts showing in the Gallery means the agent is published correctly. It seems the chat view is still showing an older cached version.

Could you please try logging out and back into Microsoft 365 Copilot to refresh the view?

Also, could you share a larger screenshot with your agent selected on the left-hand pane?

@chiaraalina here is the full screen of the agent as you I select the agent from left side but the suggestions still not showing.

Hi,

I’ve run into something similar before when publishing agents from Copilot Studio to Microsoft 365 Copilot.

In my case, the suggested prompts were visible in the test canvas but didn’t show up after publishing. I also noticed that when the “Start conversation” topic is turned off, those prompts are less likely to appear, since they seem to be tied to the initial interaction.

It might be worth trying to turn that topic back on temporarily and republish, just to see if it makes a difference. Also, sometimes changes don’t reflect immediately in M365 Copilot, so testing in a fresh session can help rule out caching issues.

From what I’ve seen, this could also just be a current limitation rather than something misconfigured.

Would be interesting to hear if anyone has found a consistent way to make them appear.
