Click UI Element in window -- Causing a small scroll + offset/failure

Hi all, a bit of a strange scenario here where a flow many times will work for weeks but sporadically has issues running due to this particular step:

Click UI element in window

 

This step targets a 'Download' link on screen and should simply click the link. However, I've watched the flow run and now see this step is causing the window to scroll down, then attempt to click the Download link. As a result the flow fails because the click occurs on the original location just prior to the scroll.

 

Any thoughts on the cause or has anyone seen this slight 'scroll' occur previously?

    I may have had a similar issue, and I resolved it by changing my action from "Click UI element in window" to "Click link on web page", so you may try that if your Download link is in a browser.

     

    Edit: Also, I believe part of my issue was I needed this activated

    Not 100% sure if the scroll thing was part of my problem too or not, but it definitely moves the screen to get to it.

    Hey @Bernard89 . I have 2 solutions for you. I am not sure if they will work or not but worth the try. 

     

    1) Double Click on the action. Click on OnError. Then on the retry action if an error occurs. Change the times value to 5 or your choice. Interval of two is fine. 

    But, I dont think above will work as you are saying its already pressing before scrolling.

    2) Second method, I would suggest you to is manually scroll with the help of a really simple JS code. Search Run JavaScript action and drag it and add the same code as the picture below.

    One more thing you should do while creating desktop flows is to use wait action.
