How to view specific folder content with a Gallery

Hi,

i connected a SharePoint site I'm using to save Word documents. I wanted to ask if there is a way to show the content of a specific folder instead of from root? I already have a Gallery set up but it shows every content thats in the Shared Documents folder.

My Folder structure is like this:

Documents

       -Folder 1

       -Folder 2

       -Folder 3

For example i only want to show the content that is in Folder 2 instead of everything, someone knows how i can do this?

@NPPlatform Thank you! i got it working, but now that RandyHayes also stated that this way is not good and should not be used because at some point the limit will be exceeded. Is there any guide how to do it in Power Automate? I looked through the Actions but couldnt find anything that fit into that category.

Hi @utkua , you can use Method 1 from this blog to retrieve all files in a folder: https://global-sharepoint.com/sharepoint/get-all-files-in-a-folder-power-automate/?expand_article=1. You'll need to create a flow that can be triggered from a Power App, will then apply method 1 from the article, parse the information that is the result of method 1 to only keep the information you need and then respond with this information to your Power App.

If this would be your very first time working with Power Automate it might be a good idea to first look at some basic blogs / videos about how Power Automate works, to get a grasp of the foundation.

Thanks, I'm very new to Power Apps, did  some basic stuff like file creation in SharePoint, using Text Input & Checkboxes to fill out the word documents etc.

Maybe there is an in depth tutorial for Power Automate Flows and using Data, i will look for some videos.

Best of luck! Microsoft has this learning path to start with Power Automate: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/training/modules/get-started-flows/
