Local Device Storage

Dear all,

I am a beginner in Power Apps, I created an app to record every delivery perform by my colleagues. Datasource is Sharepoint. My understanding is that all data and information saved from Power Apps is stored and updated to the Sharepoint List that linked to the App.
But when I checked my PC and Mobile Phone storage, it shows the storage used by Power Apps is growing.
May you enlighten to me, Power Apps stores which data at local device ? Data not saved on cloud in Sharepoint?
I read some learning documents, functions like SaveData, may ask Power Apps to save data locally. But neither this function is used in my app.

I attached screenshot of my phone Power App storage usage.

Thank you and appreciated your kind reply and explanation.

    Htktan,
Responding in as no-one else has.
Actual data is stored in your data source (SharePoint in your case). If you are not using SaveData, then there is no actual local "structured" data stored by the app. Below is mine off a Pixel 7 Pro - I have about 1 dozen apps running at various times.

I am not sure why yours is so large (there will be some data cached for performance reasons when the app is run), but if you can clear the storage and cache, it should not be an issue.

    Thanks WarrenBelz for your input.

You are right that I need to clear the data from device, but it seems I have to do it regularly to keep the device from heavy data load.

I checked on my Windows PC, the Power Apps seems taking big space too.
