I think I'm the thousandth person to ask about this but I still can't find a clear answer. I created a form using modern controls, the datasource is a Sharepoint List. I have an "Assigned To" dropdown in the form. The column type is "Person or Group" in my Sharepoint list. Currently when you click the dropdown it displays seemingly random numbers instead of display names. I know in a Classic Form you could change the field type to fix this problem, but I don't see a way to do that using Modern Controls. Does anyone know the fix for this problem?
Click on the control, on the right pane under "Fields" click "Edit". + Add field, choose display name.
