Dataflow | Missing records while setting relationship with other table

Hi lovely community,

I have built a dataflow and would like to connect to another table while data integration process.

For matching records with integration key it works great, but what about not matching records?

In refresh protocol I've seen there are lot of warnings and it seems there aren't add to Dataverse table.

For my Data Integration case it's super dangerous to miss some records cause of relations. So why it's not only ignoring missing matches? It's an optional column..

Alternative way would be to have Power Automate flow with trigger for created / updated records, but is it senseful to create the relations like this?

BR,

Sven

    Hallo @KSven ,

    two ideas:
    - import first without relation. So you import data at least.

    - of course you check missing records from protocol? Of course you checked.

With PowerAutomate you have more controll and your own error handling.

    Hi @AndKanPA ,

thanks for your reply. I've already solved the issue with a left join before of related table. So I have ensured just matching Records have content, others just null..

Yes of course I would have more Control with Power Automate, but Dataflows are easier for my Customer 🙂

    BR,

    Sven
