How to get the attachment link from the cloud.

Hi all,

has anyone ever tried to get the attachment and open the "word document" from
"cloud" and not like READ ONLY. Currently I am having this issue and it is that when I try to obtain the link of the attachment attached to the mail from the flow, I obtain the link of the document but in Read Only mode I do not obtain the same link as like if I opened it from the item. Any suggestion?

Thank you!

    Hi @SOL24

Do you mean you want to open the word doc using the link, and download a local copy, so you can modify it?

Could explain in more detail what do you need?

    Regards,

    Ferran

I don't want any local copy downloaded. If you notice, when you open an item attachment, a link opens to the attachment from the cloud and you can save your changes and they stay in the cloud! What happens is that when I get the "absoluteURI" in power automate and add it to a variable to get the link, it works but it opens the document in READ ONLY, not in a cloud!

    Hi @SOL24

When you say "in the cloud" do you mean by opening the word document in Word Online?

Sorry, but I don't really get your point.

    Regards,

    Ferran

From where are you opening the link? Email in Outlook? Teams?

I ask this because it depends on the app you're clicking the link!

    Hi

I open the link from Outlook.

Does Outlook have restrictions on opening sitelinks? Should I go to some setting on the list for this?
