Developing power App in Teams

I did the setting as shown in the below images, so that all the time border should remain, no matter what view it is.

But the border setting shows in New form and Edit form Mode. But view form mode it disappears.

I put condition background color by code ( I mean edit will have a color, new will have another color and view will have white)

The given condition has nothing the do with the code, so the border should appear all the time.

Please guide what to do be done so that all the time border to remain as per the given setting

setting screen below for Edit Form Border:

As I understand it, based on the Form Mode, you're using a formula to modify the Border Style and Border Thickness properties of the whole EditForm (not for individual DataCards, or the individual controls inside each DataCard).

Could you share the code you're using in those properties? (in text).

I have given no conditional code for Border thickness and border color , I just selected as shown in the first image.

I used the code in the fill properties as below:

    If(SupportEditForm.Mode = FormMode.Edit,Color.LightYellow,If(SupportEditForm.Mode = FormMode.New,Color.LightBlue,Color.White))

I cannot understand, if the form is in edit mode or new mode , border thickness and border color shows properly as selected, once it changes to View mode, no border get applied.

    Pls guide

I do not understand what this sentence means: "I have given no conditional code for Border thickness and border color , I just selected as shown in the first image."

Regardless, the border being removed from an EditForm control which has been set to ViewMode is the default behaviour and there is no way to change this.

    Consider using the following workaround:

    1. Insert a Container into your screen

    2. Cut and paste your EditForm into the Container

    3. Set the Height property of the EditForm to Parent.Height

    4. Set the Width property of the EditForm to Parent.Width

    5. Set the X and Y properties to 0

    6. Set the Fill property of the EditForm to RGBA(0,0,0,0) or Color.Transparent

    7. Ensure the BorderThickness property of the Container is not 0

    7. On the Fill property of the Container, enter:

    Switch(
     SupportEditForm.Mode,
     FormMode.Edit,
     Color.LightYellow,
     FormMode.New,
     Color.LightBlue,
     Color.White
    )

I am having the same problem, but on my DataCard borders inside the EditForm control. It is silly that the View mode would remove the borders or it set them to white (cant tell which).

This should be updated or noted in the documentation.
