Does anybody know how to explicitly select windows menu items. I tried both text and ID's and it is unable to find it.

It looks like I'm in the correct class.

I'm trying to automate setting a presence status in Zoom.

There are other threads on different sites for this bug, but no correct response; even from Microsoft Solutions Experts.

Microsoft developers did not even remotely answer the question correctly, even when the problem was described crystal clear.

I'll go back and update those forums once I find the answer.

I would think that this is a easy task, but I guess its not.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You so much.

This is what my selector looks like.

> menu[Class="ZPPTMainMenuWndClass"] > menuitem[Name="Away"]

This is what steps recorder looks like.

UI Elements: Away, ZPPTMainMenuWndClass, Zoom, ZPPTMainFrmWndClassEx

    Hi @Anonymous

    I have a few questions

    - Are you referring to the Zoom Windows or Web app

    - What is the presence status you want to set to

    - And why do you exactly want set a different status? Is it because the status goes automatically into "Away" status. There could be some manual workaround too therefore wanting to know.

    - What is bug you are referring about

    - Also could you share some screenshots of the menu item you are talking about.

Thank You for the reply. This is for the Zoom and Teams desktop application.

My management needs a program to click buttons to set the away or available status of both applications at the same time. There is a manual way of automating it, but is very unreliable.
