Hi folks
When I try to create field with text area Data Type, it gives me the max limit as 4000 which is similar to the text Data Type.
Is it true that we can't store more than 4000 characters in either of them?
Please let me know.

Yes, from the field properties - Max Length, we can know the max length must be a value between 1 and 4,000.

I would refer to the official documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/types-of-fields. It does state that the max is 4000 for Text Area whereas Multiple Line of Text is 1,048,576.
Note the above URL says "on-premise" but still the same for online.
