how to create a connection as shared email account?

we have a flow and I received an email

Flow turn-off alert for Reminder to trainer + BambooHR sync

The flow will be turned off in 15 days because the flow, Reminder to trainer + BambooHR sync, is using premium features but the owner of the flow is no longer with the company and the flow doesn’t have a per-flow license. Use the troubleshooting tips in this email to prevent the flow from being turned off.

So I went to fix the issue. The reeason was that there is a connection to Outlook365 under an accout of someone who left the company. I fixed the issue by replacing the connection with mine. Of course the issue will be created again once I leave the company. We have a shared email and I wonder if I can use is to create a connection.

Hi Cimenta

There is a trigger to retrieve emails from a Shared Mailbox ('When a new email arrives in a shared mailbox (v2)). You can use this but make sure you create a new connection and log into the Shared Mailbox with its email address/password. You cannot provide your details if you access it via your inbox for example.

Hi Cimenta,

As a SharePoint consultant, to all my customers and for the obviously reason I never last in the company, I've always asked them to create an account to serve as service account and to be owner of their flows or forms. This offers many advantages:
You never have to change owner for the reason you're meeting
You can assign it permission you wouldn't do to a regular user (SharePoint Admin, ADD extended permissions,..)
The account has its own mailbox. Just have to assign send permission to users who trigger flow if it sends mail. It must be done on Exchange side.
You can be many to manage and maintain flow without having to share your precious credentials or having to share flow ownership.
