Does QR code scanner function using a barcode gun?

Hi Everyone,

I have a PowerApps for scanning QR code.
It works fine with a mobile camera (installed the Power Apps on that phone).

Can we use a barcode gun for the QR code scanner Power Apps?
I have tried but seems it could not work.
Error: "Error encountered while attempting to read barcode".

Almost all physical barcode scanner devices are considered a USB keyboard to most operating systems, it is usually not a camera.

So you would need to facilitate a text-based way to have the barcode entered and use the barcode scanner's text output as your text control's input.. I have done this once before many years ago, but then you need to have both options available for those who do not have a camera and for those who do not have the barcode scanner device.
