Mail for every Teams message

Hi there, thanks for reeding. 
 
So we have this one user that wants to have an E-mail for every incoming Teams message. I tried to build in power automate but the trigger did not fire when set to "When a new chat message is added".
 
Did someone already build something like this?

    Out of interest, why does that user wants to have an email about every message? I am trying to understand this requirement/use case. I have never received this type of requirement, so I haven't tried to build this.
     
    Is it a notification type of thing to point out there is a new message (when the Teams client is not open).
     
    In that case you could also use at-mentioning to draw the attention to new messages. Alternatively, have you looked into the missed activity email notifications of teams? (see the screenshot below).

    Thanks for your answer. The user is not willing/able to observe Teams so desperately needs this mail notification... We already tried the notification settings in Teams but even "as soon as possible" does not lead to the desired outcome.

    Ok, thanks for clarifying.
     
    In that case can you share what you currently have as a flow setup? Lets figure out why it not triggers/fires.
     
    I tried the below setup, which should normally trigger and work. Maybe it helps as an example?
     
    1. Sample flow setup
     
     
    2. Test message in Channel
     
    3. Flow triggers and uses the body in the email to Michael (the boss who needs to receive the email)

    I tried to use the trigger "When a new chat message is added" as it should be for all messages (chats, also) and just want to assign into a variable for testing. When i run the test mode and a message is sent from another account, nothing happens.

    I can also reproduce this with the When a new chat message is added. The action is not triggering at the moment. I will keep an eye on the flow runs in my setup/dev tenant.
     
    In the meantime I have seen a different issue with delays on trigger for the When keywords are mentioned action as well on this forum. So, it might be an intermittent issue with the Teams Connector:
     
    Have you tried raising a support ticket for this in your M365 Admin centre?

    There are lots of issues right now with things not firing. So its not just you.
     
    Your work seems just fine, its the back end right now causing the issue
