Hi all,
Iām working in Copilot Studio with an agent flow that was previously saved/published and actively used by a topic.
The flow had the following structure:
While editing/testing the flow, the designer suddenly reset to an empty canvas showing only āAdd a triggerā. I did not intentionally delete the flow or its trigger/actions.
What makes this more concerning is that when I open Version history, the panel is completely empty. I expected to see at least the previously saved or published version.
I have not intentionally saved or published the empty version after noticing the issue.
Has anyone seen this before? Is there any way to restore the previous saved/published version of an agent flow, or recover it from the backend / Power Automate side?
Environment/context:
Any guidance on recovery steps would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Other people have run into this too. The flow definition is probably still in Dataverse; the Copilot Studio designer just cannot display it. If Version history is empty, it usually means the UI cannot read the version stream, not that the data is missing.
Step 1 ā stop. Do not save, publish, or edit the blank canvas. Every save risks overwriting the real definition. Close the tab.
Recovery, in order:
