In Windows 11 system display graphics desktop apps section, I am unable to "add Project Lasso app" to change its power setting to high.  Please advise on the process to do this.

    Hi,

This looks like a Windows 11 system‑settings issue rather than a Power Apps/Power Query issue, but here are the steps to add Process Lasso (or any desktop app) to the Graphics settings panel (assuming Copilot understood the question):

How to Add Process Lasso to Windows 11 Graphics Settings

    1. Open SettingsSystemDisplay

    2. Scroll down and select Graphics

    3. Under “Custom options for apps”, change the dropdown to Desktop app

    4. Click Browse

    5. Navigate to the Process Lasso installation folder:

      C:\Program Files\Process Lasso\
    6. Select ProcessLasso.exe (or ProcessGovernor.exe if that’s the component you want to optimize)

    7. Once added, click the entry → Options → choose High performance

If the app still won’t appear

Windows sometimes blocks apps that use non‑standard launchers. Two workarounds:

Option A — Add the EXE from the “bin” folder
Process Lasso installs multiple executables. Try adding:

    C:\Program Files\Process Lasso\ProcessGovernor.exe C:\Program Files\Process Lasso\ProcessLasso.exe

Option B — Create a shortcut and add that

    1. Right‑click the EXE → Create shortcut

    2. Move the shortcut to your Desktop

    3. In Graphics settings, choose Desktop appBrowse → select the shortcut

    Note

Since this question isn’t related to Power Apps or Power Query, you may get more targeted help in a Windows or Process Lasso support forum — but the steps above should solve the issue.
