Unable to connect PA desktop to cloud

I recently had some cloud flows set up to kick off a desktop flow. They worked perfectly for about a month and then the connection was broken out of the blue. I have been unable to fix the connection and attempted to create a new connection to my PA desktop. However, when I try to sign in and connect, I get this following error: Connection failed: [Machine 667e0c90-0c56-4a90-9fcf-09a2a11d71fe] The endpoint was not found. There are no listeners connected for the endpoint. Check that your machine is online.. Correlation id: 4dd60e1c-1994-427b-96ee-4908d085aab6

Has anyone experienced this before or have any clue on what to do next? Like I said the connection was working fine and just suddenly stopped working.

Thank you in advance for any attempts to help me resolve this.

Unable to connect PA desktop to cloud

This issue typically occurs when the connection between Power Automate (PA) cloud and PA desktop is disrupted, often due to changes in network settings, updates, or other configurations. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

    1. Check Machine Status

Ensure the machine where your PA desktop flow runs is online and accessible:

    • Verify that the machine is turned on and connected to the network.
    • Ensure the PA desktop app is running and you are signed in.

    2. Check Power Automate Desktop Connection

Verify that the PA desktop connection is active:

    • Open Power Automate Desktop on your machine.
    • Go to Settings and check if it is connected to your Power Automate account.

    3. Restart Services

Sometimes, restarting services can help resolve connectivity issues:

    • Restart the "UIFlowService" on your machine.
      • Open Services (type services.msc in the Run dialog).
      • Find "UIFlowService" in the list.
      • Right-click on it and select Restart.

    4. Update Power Automate Desktop

Ensure you have the latest version of Power Automate Desktop:

    • Check for updates in Power Automate Desktop and install any available updates.

    5. Recreate Connection

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, try recreating the connection:

    • Delete the existing connection from Power Automate cloud.
    • Create a new connection:
      • Open Power Automate.
      • Navigate to Data > Connections.
      • Click on New connection.
      • Select Desktop flows.
      • Follow the prompts to sign in and connect to your PA desktop.

    6. Verify Network Settings

Ensure that your network settings allow communication between Power Automate cloud and your desktop:

    • Check firewall and proxy settings to ensure they are not blocking the connection.
    • Ensure the machine is not in a restricted network environment (e.g., corporate network with strict policies).

    7. Review Event Logs

Check the Event Viewer for any errors or warnings related to Power Automate:

    • Open Event Viewer (type eventvwr.msc in the Run dialog).
    • Navigate to Windows Logs > Application.
    • Look for any errors or warnings related to Power Automate or "UIFlowService".

Unable to connect PA desktop to cloud

Please make sure your machine is connected with your corresponding environment by checking machine runtime.

If its properly connected its showing connected as like below screenshot.
    Screenshot of the Machine settings.

And also you can make sure the same in power automate machine tab as well.
In the below screenshot its showing disconnected but if its connected properly it should shows as connected.

If both shows connected then only you can able to trigger your bot from cloud flows.

    Thanks,
    Deenu

Unable to connect PA desktop to cloud
    Hi,

    Here's where I would start:

    1)  Log-in and confirm the VM is update and running; confirm this by logging into the machine directly.
    2)  Remember there can be no other user sessions on this machine (that's not the error message but a reminder).
    3)  In the main menu navigation confirm your machine is Active status.
    4)  Check your connection by going to Connections in the main menu navigation.  Go to the connection for this desktop flow and see if it needs to be updated.  Reauthenicate, change PW, etc as needed.
    5)  Edit you cloud flow and check the settings of the desktop flow action.  You may need to reconnect to the new restored/updated connection in step #3.
    6)  Save and test.  Typically this will resolve.

    7)  If 4-5 don't solve this for you, in step #4 create a new connection.
